Energy Technology Centre provides support across the low carbon energy sector including wind, marine, thermal systems and biomass, fuel cells and hydrogen, energy storage and low carbon vehicles.
Engineering Services
Our engineers have extensive experience in the design of renewable energy devices, prototype development, design of bespoke test rigs and specification of test programmes.
Using a range of software tools, we undertake system modelling and analysis, including Finite Element Analysis using SolidWorks.
Test Facilities
Energy Technology Centre test facilities offer a wide range of capabilities for undertaking test programmes across the development cycle: research, development, durability and performance evaluation.
In addition to core facilities, bespoke test rigs are regularly designed and built to meet clients' specific requirements.
